a few honest answers

questions, answered.

what is unmasking conversations?
plain-language education for neurodivergent adults. we put honest, specific words to experiences that usually go unnamed ... masking, burnout, social exhaustion, the quiet cost of holding it all together. it's here to help you understand yourself, not to diagnose or label you.
who is this for?
adults who are neurodivergent, think they might be, or love someone who is. you don't need a diagnosis, a label, or any certainty about where you sit. if you recognise yourself in what we write, it's for you.
do i need a diagnosis for this to be useful?
no. plenty of our community are still wondering, sitting on a waitlist, or have never pursued a diagnosis at all. understanding yourself doesn't require a formal label.
is this therapy or medical advice?
no. everything here is educational ... a way to make sense of your own experience. it isn't a substitute for individual medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. if you have concerns, please speak with a qualified health professional.
are your resources free or paid?
both. there are free resources like the social battery reset, and affordable in-depth guides like running on empty ($9). the aim is to keep this genuinely accessible ... not locked behind a high price.
how do i keep up with new resources?
join our community. you'll get new guides first ... including reclaiming our identity when it lands ... plus free resources along the way. no spam, and one-click unsubscribe whenever.
who's behind it?
laura ... a speech pathologist and late-diagnosed adhder who spent years without the words for any of this either. everything is written from lived experience, and from years of supporting neurodivergent clients.
can i share this with someone?
please do. if something here helps a friend, partner, or family member understand themselves ... or understand you ... that's exactly what it's for. (just keep paid guides to your own copy.)
